ITI ScotNet has relaunched its newsletter

ITI Scottish Network Newsletter Editor Isabel Hurtado de MendozaOctober 2007 saw the relaunch of ScotNet's newsletter. The new editor, Isabel Hurtado de Mendoza, slightly revamped the old format, and she is hoping to make the publication a truly interactive one.

The first revamped issue included traditional sections such as Dates for your Diary and Members News as well as the usual reports on past events and other network news. Apart from that, it is hoped that all future issues of the ScotNet newsletter will include articles that will be of interest to the broad spectrum of our membership, covering aspects of translation and interpreting, languages in general, life in Scotland, etc. In the next issue, for example, we will read articles on ScotNet's activities, the Edinburgh Stammtisch, specialisation and ITI courses among others.

Our newsletter is written by the members for the members, and it will be interesting to get as many different contributors as possible to make sure that the publication appeals to a wide audience. So whether you have a personal experience to tell, a successful business recipe to share or any other remotely interesting piece to publish, please send it on to editor@itiscotland.org.uk. Thank you and happy reading!
