The Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) is the foremost professional body in the UK for practising translators & interpreters, and the ITI Scottish Network is one of ITI's many regional groups. The Institute is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of excellence in the provision of language services to business and industry. Only translators and interpreters who have taken the Institute's examinations or are able to demonstrate a high level of competence acquired through experience may be admitted as members and they are also bound by a strict code of professional conduct.
